Fantasy Cantr Government

Postby Báng » Sun Mar 07, 2004 4:08 pm

I'm just changing about my fantasy football team here and I was thinking how you could apply it to Cantr. Closest thing I could think was a government. Here's the positions you have to fill -

President -
Senator -
Council (4 members) -
Head of Gaurd -
Gaurd (3 members) -
Banker -

They have to be characters that are currently alive in game. Mightn't interest anyone to do it, but it's something to pass the time. So lets see your fantasy line ups.
People don't change....perceptions do.

I don't know about a complete line-up, but it sure as hell wouldn't have Seth Everett anywhere, especially not as banker...

President: Maily Yum [S.F.]
Senator: Gregor MacGregor [K.H.N.]
Council: Joram Traske [Drojf], Stabber Stan [Siom], Rick O'Shea [K.F.], Malfu Dorisk [Brunoi]
Lead Guard: Glen Morangie [Wherever danger lies]
Guards: Steven Kardos [Siom], Gwarov Karunkun [Naron], Sestar Gartaff [Lad]
Banker: Zany Dane [Naron]

Pardon if you haven't heard of all of em, but that'd make a gvt, for good or bad.

w00t! I made Nitefyre's list!

That's a pretty reasonable lineup, on the whole.

Guard and Banker list's a little odd.

Doesn't it say something that a list of, well, effectively politicians, doesn't include anyone from Quillanoi?
Anyway I agree on the whole, but I am hugely biased against the boring Krif/Drojf region so I'm not sure about certain names...

Why does he? If they were ever part of a government (not likely) they'd be damn good at it--specially with Glen as guard.

You've never met Glen IC, have you? Nor visited the Mac Gregor Lands, I'd assume. Nor read your KDS history either. The Mac Gregors are a force to be reckoned with, and Glen has been a traveler for a very long time. That means he's good at staying alive.

Whew man, I didn't think my list was all that unreasonable. Its called "fantasy." Anyways, the Naron lineup was because my fave char is there, and no doubt West would be on that with all your important chars, but I'm not sure which one that wud be but wudn't ask either.

I wouldn't say I've got too too many important characters. Bunch of 2nd or 3rd tier, I'd say. Many are semi-powerful but are within larger groups...I've got a pretty ranking Mac Gregor, for instance, but not one of THE Mac Gregors. A Stonecutter, a Ranger, a sucessful businessman...not too many are in local politics. But the one that kinda is is on your list.
