High concentration of power, heirarchy, big weapons etc... Dourden is definitely not aggressive in comparison to some others... but anyone who can really take on Lad has to have some power... what I mean to say is this little village is "innocent" in that it doesn't have any power politics yet, nor any diplomacy etc... now some of my other chars love that stuff, but this one doesn't. It's just this little village that gets deserters and travellers from Alenz, Lad, and some other places... have you seen The Thin Red Line? You would more easily know what I mean if you have.

Which version? I have seen both and have read the book. Both versions of the movie are based on the book but are nothing like the book as well as each version of the movie is nothing like each other. I always thought that was wierd.

But anyways, DoUrden was created by my character, Zak DoUrden, who was just a petty thief from Cantr City that got lucky. Met a man by the name of Donald Fagen at the time in Brinks after leaving Cantr City who was working for Alenz Hills and building an outpost for Alenz Hills in Brinks. From there, Zak DoUrden built the estates and the mercenary company.

And we all know of Zak DoUrden's famous death at the hands of Emperor Alexi Romanov so most of you know the story from that point on.

But DoUrden has attracted many outsiders of the worlds surrounding them. So I sort of see what you mean.

All I can say is that it is going to be very very interesting. The only person that really knows what is going to happen next from DoUrdens' prospective is Robert.

man I love this game.

Oh, and could we please make sure we all follow the 4 day rule going ahead from here. There are going to be some things that may have major effects in game if they got out while or before it was happening.

That was also the same Zak that was sheriff in Pok for a while, right? Back when Theo Marks was on the council.

It was "easy" because the attackers thought that they had the advantage of surprise and the plan was worked around that, but due to a mistake, DoUrden found out that "something" was about to happen 5 days before that attack, therefore the men on the van which where sopposed to weaken and draw DoUrden's forces off and down the road to be finished by the ground assault instead ran straight into a army as well prepared as the one they were leading.

I am, however, happy in knowing that the person that made the mistake that lead to DoUrden's heads up will most likly not be alive for much longer due to another mistake made soon after.

I loaned an axe out to Donald Fagen so he could set up an outpost in Brinks Forest a long time ago and he has yet to return it. If you see him, let him know he still owes Pete an Axe.

Lmao, how do you remember these things, in the middle of a war and all.

I dare not see the Empire crumble, maybe weaken, but hopefully not crumble completely, er else...

Donald Fagen died with Zak DoUrden in Lad. many, many years ago. You'll have to make a visit to Lad. to get his axe back.

We almost had Sester and someone else when they first showed up. One more hit would have finished them off. That would have been very nice as well.
