The End of the Alexian Empire

Your chances would be much better dealing with an orgainized Empire then dealing with roving bands of brigands, the Empire has been known to shelter and supply travelers in the past.

Yes but were talking about the Alexian empire and my character here, who has been avoiding that area for a while now because of something foolish he did a while back which led to him being suspected a spy.

Ah, then he's a marked man and would probly be killed by anyone in that region that recognizes him whether they are working for the Empire or not.

Losing a battle on the road and having the Empire fall are two different things all together. It's not like an enemy is going to raid the capitol and take over. I predict no change in the near future unless Sester or Charlie or Brian decide to grasp for more power.

Well, Emperor Hawethorne is dead. The whole Grand Army of the Empire is wiped out. DoUrden now has more weapons than they did before as well as they hold most of the Empire's best transportation.

And if you knew what DoUrden is planning to do to the Empire than you would better understand where I am coming from.

And plus, most of the Empire's best soldiers were lost in that battle.

And this is DoUrden's second major victory over the Empire. First they ambushed Captain Midgey and his people in Xiria. And now they have totally wiped out an entire Imperial Army with the Emperor at its head in Brinks.

I understand your point, but my point is losing a battle on the road is different than losing a battle on your own turf with many locked buildings with locked buildings in buildings.

You are right and I do not know DoUrden's plans. they may be successful in what they will do, but its not going to be a piece of cake.

It'll be interesting...actually Hildebrand has orders from Hawthorne on what to do in this situation, and he doesn't have to actually get the news that Hawthorne in dead, if the army isn't heard from by a specific date then they are to be considered lost and things are to be acted upon accordingly.

Why stick to the island? Build a boat and sail the high seas...safest place on Cantr so far. ... at least until they allow boarding at sea.
