I have powers from everyone, but am still negotiating the terms of one power with the person who suggested it. The last two will be on the list shortly.

Over the past several centuries, humankind has managed to colonize several dozen planets in its sector of the Milky Way galaxy. Some of these worlds are barely habitable, made livable through terraforming alone -- a costly and time consuming process prone to mishap and unintended consequences. The Pangalactic Alliance includes planets with a truly breathtaking diversity of geography, atmosphere, flora, and fauna.

Humans have not been unaffected by their expansion into space. Long voyages exposing groups to a constant barrage of cosmic radiation; new environments containing bizarre viruses, bacteria, and bioreactive substances; and the advent of widespread genetic engineering; have all combined to create startling changes to the human gene pool. From planet to planet, "humans" might barely recognize each other any more. While their core DNA is the same, alterations and deviations have led to water breathers, multiple limbs, humans who feed on energy, etc. Certain individuals in particular have mutations so extreme that they are considered a potential danger to the race, even among their own kind.

Over the past two decades, however, humanity has learned of a new and even more frightening challenge: another spacefaring race, highly intelligent, dangerous, and aggressive, and worst of all, poorly understood. They are thought to be methane breathers, having evolved on giant gas planets, but little else is known about them. Several human planets have already been destroyed by their advanced weapons. The Pangalactic Alliance has given the military unprecedented funding and freedom to find a way to stop the aliens' advance.

One officer, a certain General Vicious, has established a secret outpost on the far edge of Alliance space. Rumor is that he is conducting radical genetic experiments there in an attempt to lift humanity through several stages of evolution all at once. He is gathering some of the most powerful human mutants in the galaxy in this location, though none know what he does with them there. Rumor has it that he also kidnaps those near and dear to his targets, to keep the latter more obedient to his objectives.

ughh... I've lived for far to long.

I ate it. The pie that I recieved, I devouerd it quite fully. It was delitious! I felt it's effects imidiatly. I senced all life around me, I felt great, young, energised, I felt reguvinised, even!

What nobody knows is why, though. Why did I eat it, why do I play, why do I continue to play? You won't know.

I've written in my diary.
"Dear diary.

50 years, I've never aged a day. hours, maby. I can feel all life around me, sence it... it's quite usefull. It's as if their energy enhances mine, compliments it. But, I've gotton board. I've roamed the world, viseting town after town... something's missing. I don't have a meaning to my life... I will travel back to -that- island.
