Newbie guide

I didn´t even know that there is a newbie guide until two weeks ago.
What about you? Did you read it? Is it in the wrong place?

I chose the last option, but what that really means is that I never read it.

Doesn't it say on the main page to especially read "this page" before joining? Though the link isn't that visible. LangD could change it but it would require some official decision of what would be the best wording. There used to be a page about the history of Cantr and some sort of an introduction on the main site (the wiki hasn't been around for that long) which I read before joining. The stuff about pitchforks and helicopters sounded pretty interesting although eventually I learned there's neither in Cantr.

I read the entire Wiki before joining (excluding all the vehicles and items, I just looked at that).

The tutorial island idea was an excellent idea. I'd love to have the time and Prog. know-how to roll it out. But I don't. So I sit and wit. Patiently...
