Hey, thought. The lag came in after we were allowed uploads.

Is the lag due to people uploading images??

Or some idiot uploading a hundred images at once perhaps? Or duplicating notes.. etc?

No its not. The main cause of Lag is server memory related , in particular the MySQL cache size and virtual memory limits.

Ah, is this because you're running an MMORPG on a web server? :? I don't understand the mechanics of a php MMORPG.. I barely understand the network concept of my own game to be honest, but it's not my role to.. but I know you can't use a web server for my MMORPG.. even if it's 3D... so perhaps the same applies here?
