Healing Illnesses

How about allowing resources (combined or solo) that can heal illnesses.
Even if it's already existing healing foods and apothecary mixtures. They could just have an added benefit to treat illnesses.

Like there could be a daily dose that heals so much of the illness per day; repeated until you're healed. This would still leave the air of danger diseases bring but not neccessarily leave you at their mercy either.

i think thats already been implemented. herbs can be combined to make medicines, though as far as im aware the actual combinations are find out in game.

Yeah I saw that but I thought it was only for healing injuries. My post is more for healing the "sneezing" sickness or the one were you eat three years worth of food. I could be wrong. You can actually check the wiki, there's information on how much strength the apothecary mixtures will heal as far as physical damage goes.

I would love to expand the medical possibilities in the game, and RD has wanted to for years now, but Programming is a bit swamped these days, so I am afraid we will have to wait a bit longer.

But won't that mean more damnfool diseases to be treated, more complication, more reason for new players to quit... 'cos you can be certain that the places with the medecine won't be those needing it.

That'd be interesting. Anything that significantly divides two cultures is always a good suggestion.
