Very well. You force my hand, and perhaps the length of this day undoes my better judgment. But because I believe you are about to make an error of grave proportions, I also now feel compelled to reveal my identity.

As I implied earlier; I am the Doctor.

So then. I have heard that there may be a martyr among us, who might sacrifice himself or herself to protect another from zombie attack. But that still results in the death of a good person, and then what do you have? One less ally, and one less person capable of providing protection.

I, on the other hand, have been working tirelessly on a topical ointment that repels zombies. I can only make so much at a time -- enough in a day to protect one of us at a time, each night. But I can keep making it, day after day, and no one needs to die to make use of it.

I also wish that Pie had not revealed his identity, regardless of my fate. It would make my own revelation much less dangerous. But since he has done so, you should be aware that if you lynch me, you will kill the only one of us able to provide protection from the zombies night after night. If the martyr dies protecting Pie, you will then have no more protection -- and soon, no more Priest, to go with your loss of Doctor and Martyr. The good people of this town will truly be crippled.

I strongly suggest, then, that you find someone else to lynch today. I can protect Pie with my ointment this evening. Unfortunately, it will not work on the same person two nights in a row, so the martyr should not protect me tonight, in order to be alive to protect Pie on the next evening.

*bows his head*

I expect that I will then be chosen by the zombies for their dinner tonight. But at least with my plan, you will have the services of the Priest for two more nights -- perhaps long enough to identify one or two of those among us who are evil. If you proceed on your present course, your losses will be much greater, and the Priest dead that much sooner, and evil will have gained an advantage from which the town may never be able to recover.

I have always been a man of science, as I said. I appeal to your reason one last time, and then I am done. Does what I say seem irrational to you? Do I sound like a man just pleading for his life? Or do I sound like a man who, faced with the unthinkable, is doing whatever he can to save his people from disaster; to give them just one more ray of hope in their time of need, even if it means his own death regardless of your choice?

I plead with you -- think hard on these questions before you take me down today.

[N-Aldwitch]

*he leans forward on his cane, speaking in his old, croaky voice* I am sorry, Saztronic. If you are indeed the doctor, the good have lost a potentially very powerful ally. But you could be lying. And if I vote, the majority will have their vote, and it becomes mathematically impossible for you to survive a lynch.. *his eyes look as weary as ever* This is far too stressfull...

You of all people, N-Aldwitch? Curious that you would vote so quickly after hearing my quite reasonable plea, thus ensuring my death and probably, the downfall of the community as well. It seems only yesterday that you were pleading with us not to vote for anyone at all. From peace lover to vindictive hangman, all in the space of 24 hours. Quite a transformation.

Remind me, who was it you were trying to save with your peace campaign yesterday? Ah yes, Racetyme.

I would look to Racetyme and N-Aldwitch, my friends. You accuse me of accusing everyone, and perhaps I have been overly suspicious -- but these are the two my suspicion rests on most often and most firmly. Pie, I ask you to hear me in my last moments.

*he shifts in his spot, completely cool-headed* Good idea.

Pie, please, scan us over at your nearest convenience... Go ahead.

But you're wasting your time.. you'd be better scanning someone else.

If you don't trust me, scan me first. I am the one who has shown the least suspcioun during this whole thing! But seriously- I want to be proven innocent, obviously this is a Zombie's dying wish, cause as much trouble as he can, delay the scans on other fellow zombies.

*he digs his cane angrily into the ground* You should be ashamed, Saztronic. Tonight, you die a Zombie... that leaves one last Zombie.
And it's definitely not me. *he growls, looking angry*

I emphasise that you did say 'you of all people'... suggesting that even you doubt I am a zombie. *he shakes his head* You finger pointer.
I knew you were a Zombie from the start, if you remember.. I Was foolish trusting you.

You're pretending to be a doctor because you know that you're going to die anyways.

*he paces up and down not knowing what to do* I feel so stressed these last couple of days. I don't really want to kill someone that would be a need to the community. *he strokes his beard* Aldwitch and Racetyme, could you please tell us why we shouldn't kill you two off. *he starts pulling out his hair in stress* I really want to find the zombies, not be a murder of our fellow good citizens.

[Pie]

*shakes his head* N-Aldwitch, is funny how you ask me to prove your innocence, Wile condemning a true innocent; someone who I have already seen.

[N-Aldwitch]

*he looks angry* SO DID THREE OTHER PEOPLE! I'm not the only one who voted for Saztronic! I did it based on the logic of three others!

*picks up his axe and checks the blade before forcing himself to his feet and sighing heavily*

When dawn arose on the second day, many fearful and accusing eyes were fixed upon the quiet man in the back of the crowd known as mtm21, but as the day wore on and the young man gathered the courage to speak up and defend himself, many decided to shift their attention to someone else.

This time they turned on a relative stranger amongst them, a man who went by the name saztronic. Though he protested loudly, many in the crowd refused to believe he was innocent.

A voice arose amongst the crowd: "I am a holy man and have seen him to be innocent!"

"Screw you, foolish old man." said HF

"Yeah, what the hell do you know." said N-Aldwitch

"That cross is a fake!" said Shay.

Pie shook his head.

The big man, Nakranoth, grabbed the woodsman's axe from the workshed near his house and, as others encouraged him, advanced upon Saztronic.

"No! Don't do it! I'm a doctor! From the big city... that's why you don't recognize my face all that well.... But I have this ointment that seems to repel the undead... if you just give me time, I could deve--"

THUNK.

SAZTRONIC was LYNCHED.

He was GOOD.

Night orders, please.

Almost all the crowd had gathered around the decapitated body of saztronic to see if it showed any signs of being a zombie upon death. All but Pie, who had dissented most strongly against the death.

He had stayed against the southern wall, shaking his head and muttering. The evil one amongst the crowd noticed this and directed the lurking undead towards the building even as saztronic's body was still warm.

SMASH!

Undead arms tore through the window and grabbed ahold of Pie. The crowd turned with horrified looks and ran towards him. The undead had him halfway through the window by the time others got there. Nakranoth grabbed hold of Pie's legs to try and pull him back, but the unholy strength of the animated corpses outside won out, and a screaming Pie was carried away shrieking.

PIE was KILLED.

He was GOOD.

It is now Day 3.

*he looks around at everyone confused* No, no, no, no! This can't be happening! Two more people who are innocent died. One in which was a sleeper and was also good. They both claimed to be good. *he sighs* Maybe we should of just trusted them.

[N-Aldwitch]

*he looks with worried eyes to mtm21* Mtm... please... did you do this? What's the point? Just.. what's the point.. *he mutters nonsense, and appears stressed* Just.. if it is you.. please stop...
