Directions on view?

Postby Liljum » Tue May 08, 2007 8:54 am

We have directions on our character view around the location of where he/she is. Why not on binoculars and the other view extending tools?

The directions we have today on regular vision is...
N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W and NW at land and..
0, 45, 90... at sea.

I wish that those where visible on binoculars, and that kind of tools, aswell.

That's because it was more work consuming - I would have to prepare appropriate images for every possible zoom. Probably in future, but not now.

Okay, but love to see this in the future. Kinda hard to go back to old style navigation when you have gotten used to the navigation aid.

Well, I skipped that part, cause the navigation aid was mentioned to help newbie players, and those, whose characters posses telescopes etc. are mostly not newbie. But I don't say no.

Even better would be if a character that has a sextant could see a more accurate aid insted of a 45 degrees between each mayby 22,5? Or 10?
