Missing Player's List (MPL)

Postby N-Aldwitch » Sat Apr 21, 2007 12:05 pm

I've decided to create a little thread for those missing, memorable players who just .. disappeared like that. I'll start off with one, feel free to post others- but try to include a little bit of research/intel/info on them. Ta.

Nakranoth's "evil" character says:
"Thief! That's terrible! *shakes his head* That would hurt people's feeling if I did that."

surely posting email addresses could result in the players receiving sudden influxes of spam?

I think that's why it's spaced out. But Floyd hasn't been online either.

I removed it - it was underscores.
Spam bots trawl these forums, as any other page out there, for emails - hence the influxes cantr mails used to get, as they were posted all over the shop.

Hopefully it wasn't too late...

As for names for the list, there are too many for me to start really...

They are not so terribly modern that they ruin the "feel" of the game, and they would not be super-fast like a jet or something like that. I envision running a dirigible service, trading fares for resources etc. and flying people to various parts.

On another note, a simple blimp or hot-air balloon is the kind of aircraft that is plausible to have been built from scratch and a fairly low tech-level, at least moreso than an airplane, or helicopter, or jet.

I don't mind that you killed me off, I haven't had any time to play anyways. It was nice to be player and not GM for a time, but I haven't had time for either lately. Smirg had a good run... he died the way he lived - with a gun in his hand, shooting at stuff.

Not only Gregor, but also Glen Morangie and numerous other Mac Gregor-esque characters.

Even though he played several "McGregoresque" characters, they were still separate entities. He was a good player.

What about Pirate Lass and Psycho Pixie, they haven't been around for a while.

And Anthony Roberts, joined Cantr after a long pause and then no news.

The Theorist had some interesting characters too.

Jo Jo is a legend. I don't know how Apache could have played more than one character, as busy as Jo Jo always was.

Speaking of Missing Players; nice to see that leg again. Now if you could just bring your characters back to life. :(
