No, I mean building destruction by project only. Not by rot.
And there should be more types of buildings available. I like that. But how often do you really see buildings of multiple materials? One always dominates. In a wood town, you may bring in stone for one or two, but people build what's easiest. Brick if you have clay should be that case.
Small kiln outside a building or drying bricks in the sun.

True Sanchez but that's also cos cantrians are poorly organized. I never heard of a char who is transporting large amounts of wood/clay/stone with a vehicle just to stuff some location with enough materials to make buildings. The lorrydriver or stoneminer do not exist in cantr. Also i never heard a char boast of his stonebuilding in a woodlocation, mhm now if i had a stonebuilding with wooden doors and aluminum siding, then maybe i had something to boast about.

building destruction.
I am fine with that as long as:
1) once started that person and the rest that help at anytime can not stop, they have to go to the end. Dead or building destroyed. Nothing but one or the other. Can not stop, period. Peacefull or not. Once they start they can do nothing else but destroy.
2) once started they can do nothing but work to destoy the building. They get attacked while destoring a building they can not strike back nor does their shield protect them. Nor can they be in a vehicle. Can not enter another buiding or a vehicle to get healing foods
3) The time to destroy a building should take a single man with a sledgehammer no less than 40 days to do so on a cottage. Longer on a stone building less on a shack or mud hut.
Think about it. Those areas just coming into their own and a pirate ship come along and they have steel blade weapons against natives with longbows. What chance would the natives have?
Yes there are some buildings that some of my characters would like to be rid of...
Leave it be.
Let the bitching begin.
Now back on topic.
I say that an outdoor kiln would be a good idea. If course it would be far slower producing the goods.
