Make buildings a little better
With the current system, a building can be filled to just short of its total capacity with resources, and then entered by a person. Then, the inside of that building is totally impassable, with no way in and no way to force the person out. It is essentially an impenetrable lock, and it seems a little odd to me that that would be in game.

I'm still thinking of a way around the problem, but for now I think that all such buildings (only those without locks) Should be cleared every day. By this I mean that the person inside is forced out at a random time daily, in an effort to maintain balance. I know its not a great idea, but its early and the morning, and I'll keep thinking throughout the day.

perhaps storage capacity should be separate from people capacity.
After all, with a building that is 100% full surely that building is literally floor to ceiling with stuff?
There could a weight value for "storage space", e.g. 10,000 grams, and then a value for the "standing space" available. What a character is carrying isn't taken into account when working out the storage space used, but they can only drop things if there is storage space available

This has been suggested/talked before. Sorry, but I can't find it right now.

My 2 cents:
The people page shows characters in the area and INTO the vehicles on that area (with the name of the vehicle between brackets)
The solution could be to let see the people into unlocked buildings (given that the door is open, you can look inside, maybe directly when pushing on the People page, or maybe after a second click pushing a new button near the building name in the Buildings page (in order to avoid extra lag)) and drag out/in the people inside/outside non locked buildings without steping out/in.
I hope it will be easy to program.

Chris wrote:There is good cause for an in game method of removing bodies from bikes/buildings. Maybe people should be allowed to drag bodies from the outside of a building/vehicle (assuming it's not locked) There are ,on average, about 2 to 3 support requests of this type per week . Managable , but not ideal ... but then again what would ProgD have to do if we weren't clearing bikes for players Laughing

I like this a lot. Far better than my idea.

Honestly, seating in cars needs to remain as is because you honestly can fill a car's seats with groceries... but we do need ways to get a drag menu from the outside. In other words, a Drag from button on vehicles/buildings that pops up what you can try to drag from an unlocked building... I'm not really sure how complex of a process that would be, but it would all but elliminate all sorts of munchkining and corpse related issues.

Maybe I have misunderstood tiddy ogg and AngelSpice, but...
Drag out from UNLOCKED vehicles and buildings.
So I think there is no problem with the tandems and the like: you put a lock on it and no one can throw out you from your vehicles (unles you are asleep enough time for the thief/killer to break the lock and drag you out without you fleeing).
