so wait, making some humongous smelting factory thing, that can pump out a ton of iron a day, but costs a heck? I like it.

Yeah, but Cantr's a game. I'm not waiting a year in real life for something in a game, let alone three hundred years.

I don't mind things taking time. I just want to know they'll get there at all. I can't imagine anyone not burning out before getting some cars going now, if they've got to get fuel for them.

I think alot of places have carrots or potatoes. If worst comes to worst, than they can make oil out of that. And after that, i'm sure someone will "strike" oil in the desert, and provide it at such a lower cost and higher amount that he or she will become an oil barron.
