I am too damn lazy to read all the posts, so I'll just asumme there are about 2 people arguing for this, and a ton of people fighting with them. At first glance I immediately though that this was a dumb idea, but on further consideration, it seems interesting. I wouldn't want it now, there is always something happening in the cantr world if you make it happen. But in the future, I truly think this could be beneficial. In fact, I would fully support the creation of a sort of new cantr. Every time you created a new char, you could choose to put it into the old world or the new, and this would allow for a new world, but it would not necessitate the destruction of everything in the old world. Aside from a little creativity in creating a new world, I don't think this would be that hard at all to implement.

I would still like this idea. I have taken control of three islands now and have build and collected all. Let's start over.

Who's up for a much smaller world this time round??

There was some statistic some staff member said once, that only 3% of locations were populated with 2 or more people...

I got one question only - what about all notes, pictures and maps? Should we delete them? Whole days spent on photoshop to make perfect maps of new lands? I don't feel like I would waste it. It was a lot of hard work.

And you have no idea how much time I spent on developing culture and identity of a nation, that we made in Cantr. There is a real country, not just a one town community. We achieve a lot in polish zone, far beyond making cars or radios. What about you guys? Tou haven't? You have nothing to lose?

What about all of the players that have characters that are just starting to create towns and societies. Characters that have just started producing significant amounts of iron, steel, different foods other than meat etc...
A reset or a global catastrophe would kill this game.
Why doesn't someone just reject and move this.

Alright, well, I was glad to see this day last year, but I guess we are doing it all again. If you really want to play in a new area with none of the old tech still riding around, then I suggest we open up a new spawn point somewhere. Not too hard to do. Then we can stop all this talk about destroying the game.

Why hasn't this been moved to rejected already? Probably most of the steady player base would quit if it happened. I think someone said new spawn points won't be opened up, and it wouldn't really make a lot of sense as the spawning doesn't work that way anymore anyway. Just make your chars travel to unknown lands. Make them go someplace like Aki and brave multitudes of horrible animals.

Man, just start a crazy religion, build some longboats, fill them with all the stuff and notes from the location you want to restart and send them away with dummy captains. Or, if sea is too far away, lock everything, send the key away and pretend that's not there anymore.

Or hire some foreigner barbarian warriors, equip them and let them kill and plunder as long as they leave the region for your party after. Barbarians were good at resetting old civilizations to dark ages. :P
