Slow server?
I hate to be a pain, but I can't seem to access any of my characters. Is the load time just taking forever, or is there some problem specific to me? I had some trouble earlier, so I figured I would try later. I just let it run, and it has been trying to boot up my character's page for 15 minutes.
Edit: I posted this in the wrong section, so if someone could move it that would be great. Also, it successfully loaded up somewhere between 15 and 18 minutes. One the main character page was loaded, with events and such, I had no trouble with load times.

I'm not sure I'm making the problem clear. I can log into the main page that shows my information and the list of all my characters, but going to the specific page for my character takes many, many minutes. Once I reach that point, its fine again. I don't know if this is different than what you are saying, but I know I wasn't clear the first time.

No, sometimes it lags that badly and sometimes it goes completely down. Most of the time when mine does what you're describing, it goes down while trying to access my character. Yet, I'll be able to log out quickly and log back in just fine... but it will never access the character page or does after many, many minutes.

I hate this lag
. Cantr always seems to lag, and it's just adding to my increasing uninterest in Cantr. The only thing -really- keeping me here is that several of my character's I don't want to let just die, but one of their "stories" has just about ended, another sleeps too often, the third is having everyone around him fall asleep and only the fourth and fifth I can really play with properly anymore

This have really become a problem lately. Even too get to the frontpage takes about 1-2 minutes. To access a character takes almost 15 minutes. And i really had to take a look at my character that i resently moved before the lag. If he would have moved it to the wrong place he would have been killed. But after a couple of hours (when i could get in again) i could see that he moved to the right place. Lucky me. But if he had been stuck in the wrong place during the lag he would be most probably dead by now.

I don't know about closing the game, but could we get an IG progress report from the ProgD? I know I for one would love to know what's going on... and I think it would put many peoples minds at rest, or at least help them deal with it.

It only starts after the reset and the impossible part lasts for six hours or so. I wouldn't know about the lagginess in the hours following that as then I go to bed, but the daytime here is pretty much lagless. So if the game could be closed from one hour after reset to five hours after? Then test users could check if the lag is caused by too many players logging in at once or due to some processes running during this time.

My bad dream begins around 14GMT (now) and becomes a nightmare around 15GMT. When I leave here (around 20GMT) it is still impossible to log in.
Now (absolutly lagged) there are 100 active players.
This morning was fine and I saw 50, 60...

Alright, mine begins about 14:30 GMT, ends at 16:00 GMT, restarts about 17:00 GMT, and goes onto about 1:00 GMT in the night. Conveniently, all of the times it is offline are the only times I can really play (hence why many of my characters have been -really- sleepy lately - eg Catherine Herring hasn't been properly awake for more than a week, perhaps more, I'm not sure). THIS IS REALLY ANNOYING ME
