Question.
Kinda realised this a while ago but never got round to confirming it.
If dead bodies eventually rot away to nothing, (regardless of how long it takes), ... doesn't this COMPLETELY defeat the purpose of a mosuleum?

"Thief! That's terrible! *shakes his head* That would hurt people's feeling if I did that."

Yes .. The first bodies to decay completely did so on Jan 4th - all were bodies of characters who died before the implementation of decay - (or at least before the last reset back to zero decay which was done several times in the early months).
EDIT: Technically they still exist in the database which considers them as effectively buried in their location so for all intents and purposes they dissappear from a character POV

I could probably count the exact time +/- a few days to how long it takes for a corpse to deteriorate, based on in game experience. I was surprised to notice it had vanished into thin air, since they couldn't show the "used, often used" stuff for a corpse in order to avoid naughty jokes, so there was no sign of deterioration.
I wish mummification could be added. Be that we can't lift corpses up to add them on a project, but there could be a "mummify this corpse" button along with the other buttons. Clicking on it would give options for projects, you could use either cotton or hemp cloth (not sure about silk) and resin. That would be the simplest form. I don't think it would necessarily have to be made any more complicated than that.

Hang on... what I get from this is that dead bodies, once buried are still in the DB? Or am I just extrapolating too much?
'Cose if they were still in there then that leaves room for some cool ideas. (Not just zombie hordes erupting from the ground to devour us all)
How feasible would digging people up be?
