I am not and will not discuss the possibility of Nick getting his account back with you, or in public at all. That he's a creative, energetic player has never been in dispute, but this request needs to be discussed by the GAC, not on the public forums.

Dylpickle, you speak when you know not what you speak of. And for this very reason, I hate that you've once again brought this to the public, Nick. Getting sympathy votes from people who don't have a clue why you were banned. Not a good move when you're hoping to get back in, imo.

I agree, I'm not asking for people to vote on letting me back, I'm wondering if I'm even wanted for one; because if all I did was annoy people then I don't want to come back. I also want everybody to know that I'm sorry for anybody who lost characters due to unfair advantages. That is more important than my coming back, because I still talk to some people from Cantr and I don't want people to have bad feelings towards me personally.

I know you probably do, but I'd just like you to know that I don't towards you. Or anybody else. I took the game too far then, I don't hold any bad feelings towards anybody personally.

I have changed a lot in a year, I'm not a high school student who smokes pot all day. I've volunteered to be deployed to Afghanistan, and there has been a lot of change in between then and now, and to come, I imagine.

He's right. All he did was apologize (which was good). I can't imagine the old Nick apologizing for anything. He can't help it if people started debating things.

Oh, yeah, he did. I think he meant that if people were still pissed at him they could vent about it, though. Not that they would have any say on if he can come back or not...cause we don't.

The banning of any person from any organisation, group, club, etcetera with a hierarchal system that has a cell to deal with any troublemakers is never, ever up for public appeal.
Yeah, Nick didn't ask for you guys to rally against Cantr and bring him back, but it's out of line to even suggest on your part that the cell responsible for banning/unbanning of participants should make a decision based on the larger populace's views and opinions. Otherwise there'd be no need for the GAC and players department and so on, and in similar light, no need for the resources department as players would chose the balances.

My point is, while it's all good and well to post about bringing Nick back and why it's such a good thing, (and indeed it's very nice to do that), there are people in power to make these decisions, and make them for us.

So accept his apologies, abuse him for any suppressed anger you had/have, and move on and await the response from the GAC.

what did you do anyway? I've never had a carrie killed by another carrie (exept for once... I was a newspawn theif ) and have only hade one instance of ever being afrade that my carrie will die from another carrie (I'm safe now, so no worries)
