What the hell?

General out-of-character discussion among players of Cantr II.

Moderators: Players Department, Public Relations Department

When you drag a note now into a building, the person can see who did it. HOW? What's your opinion.

This is stupid. How can you see who dragged a note from behind a locked door?

Well, the townspeople can see you dragging it and they shout it to the person inside the building. Thus, it's logical.

The man behind the door has telekenetic powers.

The man behind the door has fingerprints duster and had checked your fingerprints before he was inside the building, matched them to the note.

Nakranoth's "evil" character says:
"Thief! That's terrible! *shakes his head* That would hurt people's feeling if I did that."

I don't think "telekenetic" was the word you were looking for.

Some things in cantr are not like real life. This may shock you. It shocks my housemates, who wonder why I have sixty pounds of onions in my room.

Maybe "see" is the wrong word, and they can recognise the footsteps or the smell of the dragger. Or maybe it is indeed a special Cantrian sense like the death sense.

When I was a receptionist I could always tell exactly who was coming down the hallway from the sound of their walk. Cantrians do a lot of listening. It's probably a highly developed sense. Or maybe they all have their own dragging styles.

Insert bawdy remark about my dragging style here!

You mean like back to your cave? Or the dressing up in flamboyant clothing? Or both?

Ooh...
Please say it's both...
Cave, drag, west - that's three boxes ticked. Now all I need to find is an Albanian circus troupe, 30 pairs of rubber gloves and a 1982 Mini Cooper in British Racing Green and my fantasy is complete!

Take me to thine lair, my queen!

*coughs* Ahem, can we get back on topic before I say something? Thank you.

On topic, I agree it's probably just a cantriian sense thing. AND IT'S CANTRIIAN with two Is!

Maybe the same way that you can sense how old someone is? Cantrians have basic "senses" which we don't. Simple.

Ok, this topic might just be the most off-topicky topic there is.

I was about to report this "problem" (although I don't see it serious enough to be a real problem) but then I forgot. It's funny indeed. But it's better that we see the dragger in all cases than in none at all. If ProgD has time for this then go ahead and fix it, but the world isn't gonna fall over even if there isn't an insta fix. Since it's very rare that there wouldn't be someone around to see you pull the note, so it's really hard to be sneaky about it. Or if you're locked in a buildling, you're likely to be alone in there so when you come out, it's reasonable to assume that the notes were from you.

Edit: And way to go with a title, having something obscure and containing a swear word is a good way of keeping ProgD from looking into this topic. Ever thought that the thing might be fixed? Naw, you just wanna complain.
