6 hours to nightfall.

Rule Addition: For a lynching to take place, 50% of people in town must vote. It doesn't matter who they vote for, but a "peaceful" majority will prevent any lynching from taking place.

Emmy Metro

Emeril “Emmy” Metro had just finished up a wood project and was about to move onto copper when he heard something behind him.

“Think maybe you should drop that for the tax? I figure about 400g from the size of your project.”

“Oh, it’s just you, what do you care about the tax? If that bastard wants wood he‘s got two hands to get it.”

“Yup, got a nice bow to help too. That sounds like a plan.”

“Wait. What? You mean…”

The snap of a bowstring stops Metro in mid sentence and the night goes silent again.

The next day the town wakes up to find Emmy halfway between the forest and copper mine with and arrow in his stomach and this message spelled out on the ground next to him using approximately 400g of twigs. “Killed 4 Theft”

Emmy Metro (Spider) has been killed.

Day 2 begins now.

*With shock* Hey! That woman's dead! Did anyone see anything? Hey! *Looks at Bowser* Was it you!?

(I vote for Bowser to be killed)

A bit quick to make decisions now eh?

*she walks in from the forest and inspects the body then reads the note sighing*

Looks like someone means business here.... I'm with N.. better safe than sorry. *she drops some wood to the ground before heading back into the forest*

Let's not start pointing fingers now. *shivers a bit* He wasn't the only one that spoke up against the tax. That body on the ground could have as easily been mine.

*he stands next to Deadboy* You are very quick to jump to the point but.. I don't like taking sides, I'd prefer to just get some wood and be gone, with my girl, but.. *he tries looking at Bowser for a hint of innocense*

(vote bowser)

Taxes are commonplace, and I'm sure the town can put it to good use. Why make trouble, Bowser?

I don't know why everyone is looking at me. I'm chopping wood like everyone else. And whats the deal with that quiet one over there *points to Pie* Just standing there watching us all, not saying a word.

I say if we aren't going to join together, then we pay the tax. And if we are looking for the person that killed poor Emmy, maybe the one who pointed fingers first or the one how hasn't said a word might be a little more guilty looking than me.

If I was forced to decide, I'd say that one over there is guilty.

(I vote Pie)

I agree, actually, he just hides over there.

(vote changed to Pie if possible)

*she hears all the debating* This is getting ridiculous! I am going to hurry up and finish gathering the wood I need so that I can leave this crazy place. Whoever it is that is causing all this trouble just to make us pay some tax, show yourself and stop waisting my time, because I am not paying a thing! You can kill me if you must. I am not afraid to die for what I believe in.

...and you! *she turns to Torkess_theCommie* How can you just give in to this threat and want to pay tax to this....this murderer. Do you know something that we don't? *With that said she begins chopping wood faster*

Sparkle, I don't know anymore than anyone else here... I just don't want to risk the chance of being killed next. Pie hasn't said a thing yet, has he?

No...he hasn't. He could be the coward who won't come forth. Pie, I need to know if you are the one behind this? I would feel more comfortable in a town if I didn't have to look over my shoulders every minute.
