A hieght/wieght calculator is it least acurate method of detirmining BMI. The best way I know of is with one of those EM scales, but they are kind of expensive. There is also emertion displacement where you actually submuge youself under water to determine your volume and figure that into hieght/wieght equation, but it's not exactly convient
Either of the latter two allow for a measurement of mussle density. Some meathods involve measurements of your girth in various places to guess your mussle mass, but this is only slightly more accurate than hieght/wieght and is a way more complicated equation.

I was just having breakfast now when an ex best friend (he's a guy) texts me to say happy new year and that the father of another close friend has died two days ago
What a way to start the day, and I haven't even finished my breakfast yet.
We're still celebrating the muslim feast (El Eid AL Adha) today is the third day and tomorrow is the fourth and last day. So these days I do nothing but going out to lunch with the family (lunch here is equivelent to dinner where you guys are.) And then after lunch, I go out with my boyfriend or my friends, or both, lol.
I just finished reading a very nice book.. (I'm so into chick lit books, by the way) the book is Something Borrowed by Emily Griffin... It's kinda more than chick lit... I really liked it, I'm even buying the second and last book in the sequel. I'm even buying all of her books (Which are three in total
)
So... Nothing interesting to say... Yeah.. I'm kinda bored.

I never had any new year resolutions, never really thought of it... But now, it seems that everyone is thinking of something, so maybe I should have some resolutions as well.
My New Year Resolutions are:
1. You knew I was going to say it, yep, lose 30 pounds (22 more to go.)
2. Study more. Get good grades.
3. Stop making up problems with my boyfriend, because I know he's going to be fed up with me if I don't stop making up problems soon.
4. Read at least two smart books. (By smart I mean non-fiction
)
5. Stop dying my hair red. (I actually stopped that a long time ago. I even dyed it chocolate brown, but it still looks red!)
6. Take more pictures of me and my boyfriend, and frame them.
7. Get closer to God.
8. Exercise more, not just to lose weight, but to be more fit and have better health.
9. Finish writing the poems I started...
10. Stop sepnding too much time online.
Well, these are all I could think of. What are your resolutions for the new year?

Noooo! not number 10!
Number 3 on the other hand is a really good one, you should deffinalty roll with that one.
As for the whole me not seeing a scale in forever, I finnally found one. I've actually lost even more wieght than I thought. I'm 165 which means acording to the BMI thing, I'm a normal healthy ratio again
... I haven't weighed this little since I stoped wrestling, and I don't even know what I've done to loose it all.

You know, it's only been 6 days since my new year resolutions, but I am actually working on them. Except for reading the books!
But I feel like I'm going to accomplish something this new year, like losing the weight and keeping it off, and increasing the studying time and getting good grades (the finals are in five days).
I made a studying schedule to help me studying, and I joined a food tracker website to help me track the calories, and I think it's really working!
I also haven't had a fight with my boyfriend!! Okay, only one, but I came to my senses quickly and apologized to him. I'm really making a progress here!!! Also, I am exercising more and more...
Speaking of exercising, if you do exercise, do you know how many calories you burn a day? (I'm actually ashamed of telling you how many calories I burn a day)

Actually, I went to the gym 2 days ago which is where I found the scale, and I've barely lost any stregth. (Tourett's Disorder rocks!

As for how many calories you burn a day from exercising, it makes a very big differnce based on your metabolism and how much exorcise. I know some people who work out and can't loose wieght on a 1000-1500 cal diet. I know others who eat in the 4000-5000 range and still don't gain any. All I can tell you is that the average healthy adult with moderate exorcise is suposed to be able to mainatain an average weight at 2000/day. Knowing how much you're burning just takes a bit of learning to know yourself.

That's exactly why I joined MyFoodDiary.com. It's a great website, it lets me log the exercise I've done and all the food that I consumed, and calculates the calories I've taken and all that I have left for the day. I exercise and burn calories but then I eat them back. Yep, you read right. And I still lose weight. It's amazing!!!

Incorrect, it's 2200 a day for a healthy woman and 2500 a day for a healthy man. "Healthy" means 30 minutes of brisk exercise a day, if you work out properly, you may get away with about 3000 a day without gaining weight, although you won't lose any. If you do no exercise it will be -about- 1800 a day for women, 2100 a day for men, although you will probably still put on weight. But he is right in the fact that this is only a guideline, because with some people they can go way over this and not put on weight and some will put on weight even below the calories they should

What was the book about that you just read? The title makes it sound like a wedding.
My New Years Resolution:
Clean more.
We always have just one and since I quit drinking (any alcohol, that includes champagne and wine), smoking (about 7 years ago), and I can not do my normal exercising and stick with it due to pregnancy...that is all I could come up with. Since I'll be finish school in two weeks the other thing could be to get a job...but that's really not a resolution. That is something I need to do whether it was the New Years or not.
As for yours I like 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8. Stick to them! That is one thing I do not like about a New Years resolution. Most people do not keep them (including me lol).
I was also going to ask you the name of the site, but you read my mine.
It is great to keep track of this when you are exercising. Oh and keep in mind although you are watching your calories there are calories that are put on from something healthy so you should not worry to much about those.
Well, good luck to ya.

It's a novel about a girl whose best friend is about to marry her fiance`, but then she falls in love with the guy (her best friend's fiance`.) It's really nice, kind of mature chick lit... I finished reading it, and if you want to read it, don't worry, I didn't tell you the whole story, just what you find out at the very beginning of the story. Then there is its sequel, Something Blue, the same story told from the best friend's side, I haven't started reading it yet.

Well, so far, I'm sticking to all of my resolutions, except for the non-fiction books... But I hope I will get to that later, maybe after I finish my exams. I'm really glad I'm sticking to my new year resolutions, I know that it's only been a week, but this time I feel like I'm going to really achieve them

By the way, do you guys find this font color annoying?
