Auto-spit

Postby Skulty » Wed Jan 03, 2007 9:18 am

Maybe this is due to the recent changes in the spit's code, but now when you start a meat grilling project you can't chose how much meat you want to use... instead, 150 grams are needed. The chosing screen just doesn't appear and 150 grams are chosen by default. Maybe this is suposed to be this way, but why? :?

..Err it's always been like this.. Well, for the past 2 years at least, which is enough to be 'always'..

Indeed. It has always been that way. And it should be 275 grams, not 150.

Ups... Sorry... I always use the smoker... I just went to check the spit because there was something about a change in the Wiki, so I wanted to check which was better, the spit or the smoker...
But now I have another stupid question: why is it automatic, and the smoker's not?

That's the equaliser.

You can either sacrifice having to log in constantly to put new meat on, or you can just work on a large smoking project.

edit: and keep in mind this is like asking why a crossbow does more damage than a sabre.
