I really enjoyed this article. It seems to put into perspective some of the debates and conflicts that occur on our forum.
I would also say I'm a mixture of all four suits, with Achiever being the most predominant and Killer being the least. I definitely have characters that personify specific categories also, at least one pure Explorer, a few other explorer/achievers.
I don't have any characters currently who purely personify the Killer category, generally they need some other justification to kill or victimize others besides the mere desire to dominate.

A dominant killer.
Nakranoth's "evil" character says:
"Thief! That's terrible! *shakes his head* That would hurt people's feeling if I did that."

I think you misunderstand Killer:
The town leader that goes around feeding people and trying to organise them is an out and out Killers. It's do with sociopathy, seeing people as resources instead of people, something which is rife in the game.Killers get their kicks from imposing themselves on others. This may be "nice", ie. busybody do-gooding
R.I.P:
Blake Stone, Jizz Bucket, Patterson Queasley, Billy Sherwood, Chavlet D'Arcy, Johnson.

Hmm... interesting point. I guess I see most town leaders as Achievers since their organizing is generally goal-oriented... to build the strongest, greatest trade center, military center, cultural center of the region, for example.

Most town leaders are achievers, not killers. Some are socialisers (at least, I assume they are...) but there are very few "killer" leaders, even by the nice busybody version.Black Canyon wrote:I guess I see most town leaders as Achievers since their organizing is generally goal-oriented... to build the strongest, greatest trade center, military center, cultural center of the region, for example.

Don''t forget that those players that try to help others are called "Killers" too. Your chars never try to influence in some positive way any other?
Tyche es una malparida. Espero que Ramnus y Pluto intervengan... o no
