Wow, both you and West now live on my doorstep.
Nah, I'm finishing up school in Chicago right now, but I'll be in New York for the 28th-3rd catching up with some friends. And probably I'll move there when I graduate.
Jos, to answer your question, New York is crazy during New Years'. There's the ball drop in Times Square (which I avoided last year as it's pretty touristy) and just general good times. Lots of good bars and parties and such. Not exactly sure what I'll be doing, besides hanging out with my friends.

New York's not nearly as hectic as I hear Miami is. Apparently to celebrate New Years, Christmas, St. Patricks Day, or just the sun going down, Miami (which has as many guns as North Korea, but of higher caliber), and all her citizens, shoot up every gun they have into the air, sometimes several times. The police would stop them, except that what goes up must go down, and the police aren't being paid to brave warzones in order to break up a disturbance of the peace.

Are you from the future?
And Jos, I'm almost positive every cheap place (and probably most of the expensive ones) will be booked. I hadn't thought of that. I'm staying with a friend there from the 28th to the 3rd.
