Most of my characters are asexual... they don't tend to flirt or seek out relationships, only alliances, business relationships, and friendships...

With my characters they either are romantics, flirts, or black widows that kill people for what they have. The black widows only apply for two of the characters I did have. They're both dead now. Live by the sword, die by the sword.

I think I have killed countless people on Cantr with a whole load of people. HAHA

The majority of my characters have noone romantically just like David's chars,but it's quite on purpose since it just doesn't go with their personalities.Either that or they are more busy with their work than they are with socializing.

Yes, I'm the same way slowness_incarnate. Most of my characters are actively involved with either using and holding power, or working towards gathering it.

Exactly...plus I have a full time RL relationship to maintain, and just don't feel like having much to do with that IC, I want to do things with my chars that I can't do in RL, not the things I do everyday.

Mine are the opposite. Most act to empower others at the expense of those who would seek or have power.

The opposite of order is chaos.
Chaos has no opposite. Order is an arbitrary reference point in the infinite possibility that is chaos.

And all that crap about chaos theory is just that. Any statiticial knows that randomness has rutes. Anyone who understands nature undestands that anything connected to life takes on the properties of life even if it in inself is lifeless. (No surprise that electircal grids act as biological constructs since they are built and used by biological organisms).

Most of my characters aren't interested in raw power. Some are, but some are like D.G's characters---keeping mean people from getting too much power.


I like to think I've got a fair amount of variation in my characters' personalities and goals, though most of them tend to be sarcastic at times.

Power comes natrually to a few of my characters. So romance usually comes after I am assured a very high position and a high level of power, control or material wealth.

I didn't bother to red the entire thread but in my opinion there should be the THIRD option of random.
So male, female, OR random. Why not. If ever you just cannot dicide it'll be there.

I've never been able to write from a women's point of view.

"Oh, come on now, Alex, that girl would never say something like that!" Is people always say, and even when I create the character. So I try and avoid it.
