Whinging is like whining, only you have to be pivoting at the same time.

(the word reminds me of 'hinge' for obvious reasons)

I've found a new bug!

Postby Duckers » Sun May 28, 2006 3:49 pm

Well, I think it's a bug, anyway.
When you are on the "clothes selection" page, and you click on an item of clothing, most of the time it just flicks back up to the top of the clothes selection page. I find this really annoying, as sometimes it does it about three times in a row, on the same piece of clothing!

Please! Someone do something to fix this! Or give me a workaround. Or, at least, tell me if you've had the same problem, so I know I'm not alone!

Stop using the back button on your browser - This only happens if you try to move from the information about a particular item back with the
back button.

Use the link "Back to cloth selection page" to return to the main list before selecting another item

The first is a known-variant of the following bug in the first post in this thread

Problem: I see [ship name] undocking everywhere

At least one of you characters knows another character as Adam Cloud and you have been travelling on the same road with them so it is quite valid that you can see their hunting activity

There has never been a restriction on cottages other than they can't be built on vehicles - There also is no error message when you try to build a cottage in a mud hut as it is allowed.

What message? Could you give us a screenshot or a copy/paste? There should not be a message.

Building a cottage (as you mentioned before) is allowed -
Wooden extensions are only allowed in Cottages or other Wooden extensions - the issue with the project appearing has been fixed

Is there any chance of a moderator clearing this thread out? If its aim is to list known bugs, as the title suggests, then it really need only be one post long - ie extend the initial post at the start of this thread.

By all means allow people to post to add other forgotten but known bugs, but then add that bug to the list on the first post, and delete the extra post, to maintain an up-to-date list.

Three pages in this thread of known bugs not only makes ProgD sound bad, but is a lot fo newbies to struggle through.

It's not a bug but a feature, but it's something for your characters to worry about - I don't want to explain it on the forum. But play it out ;) ...
