That's been around for months... Don't remember the first time I saw it but it was a long time ago. Think someone showed it somewhere, in chat or on the forums. Think it was in chat. Funny site.. lol

I'm going to re-write it so it isn't abrasive and abusive and instead funny.

Okay, all I can say is that I'm sorry for what I did previously, and here is what I've done so far.
It needs a bit of tweaking here and there.

If you'd like to see the improvement I've made, check out the old crappy one.

(the later link is what the site looked like when this post was made ;) )

edit: What do people think? Too offensive? Too abrasive? Too much info in places?
It's a WIP (work in progress) so any additional help is appreciated. Feel free to add to it.

Haha, I remember that one. In fact, I was the one who found it on Google, I'm pretty sure. Then I told people on the IRC channel and some got really offended. Someone, I think it may have been Peanut, erased the whole thing and replaced with a text that says something along the lines: go check it out instead of blindly believing in articles like this. Edit: No wait, that one came later. The replacement according to the history is "Best game ever. Screw you Thetaris." But I figured the original was kinda funny although a bit too harsh, so I brought back the original and added some remarks.

Anyway, I think the original was funnier than the current version. Especially the part about the "picture of a 2D, single-coloured chicken that represents the animals in your locality". Since many of the things said were in fact true, although people wouldn't pay so much attention to them. It's true that it may take days to kill a rabbit with your bare hands, but in real life I bet many people couldn't do even that. But the stuff about building a house in one day is certainly bogus. I'd wish you'd concentrate on finding the funny in things that excist instead of coming up with something totally imaginary.

Wait a minute, N-Aldwitch used to be Thetaris?

Man, I feel kind of stupid not knowing that.

As for the article, the quotes were pretty funny, but the rest of it seemed a bit uninspired...ah well.

Lol, I found this a few days ago as my school blocked all games and so I was looking for that alternitive link to cantr (It's like www.forum.cantr.net right? Anyway, I couldn't find it but thankfully they got rid of the block on games, otherwise I may have had to quit cantr :S) and whilst searching through the first like six pages that came up on google when I typed cantr I found it

Hmm...as a proud Kansan, I have to take exception with the Bob Dole pseudo-quote.

The line about the cartoon chicken did make me laugh quite jovially the other night, though. I thought the old one might have been over the top enough to have brought people in just to see how much of it could possibly be true.

That's the big problem. I knew I was dragging what ever came to mind first onto the page- that's why the quotes were good and the content was not. The content's horrible. I hate it.

Heh, funny thing is I thought that was me being plain stupid as my immature self two years ago.

I'll include it if I can be bothered finishing it now.

Please- everyone- feel free to manipulate and edit it all you like. :D And certainly add to it!!
