When exactly was Cantr founded?

When exactly was Cantr founded?

Seeing that the gaming directory entries usually copy the same text over and over again, I wouldn't be surprised if such an inaccuracy was found elsewhere as well.

Do we really have to be so vague about it? Naturally time rolls on now and as far as I know, Cantr has been operational for about 4 years. Instead of publishing a fixed lenght of time that will soon come inaccurate, we should at least provide the articles with a year of foundation, if not an exact date. Surely there's some record of when cantr.net was registered as a domain? Isn't that about the time that marks the existance of this game in it's current form?

We have the day 1684 today. Day zero should have been about March 2002.

There has been some time overlaps, lagtimes, so the date definitely is in '01.

Our birthday is in three days ;) ... For as far as I remember, the game went online on October 17, 2001.

Ah, good point - wouldn't have thought of looking that up :) ...

There were about 2 weeks between conceiving Cantr and going online, so we can't be far off ;) ...
