it's simple. your able to see the number of extra rooms that branch of the main building of a building.

Why not? After all they can hardly be inside the building, since the capacity of the main building isn't affected by them, therefore they must be tacked on to the outside, where they'd be visible.

you're able to see the amount of branching off add ons to a main building thing

from the location.

I like this suggestion. It seems strange that a single room building looks exactly the same to a building that has hundreds of rooms.
