unfortunatly i've been having a hell of a time trying to find materials to learn Gaelic, i would love to learn it, even though the result would be a sort of cross between english, french german and gaelic and nobody would be able to understand a lick of what i say but. if cantr had a Gaelic area that would be cool too lol and i'm still trying to find ways to learn it.

Pig Latin was taken off the list because it's not a real language - just distorted English.

I believe that makes four Japanese players - possibly enough for the language to be added to Cantr.

As long as at least one of them is ready to translate and there is a Japanese Language Marketing volunteer (it can be the same person)

The same goes for Italian as well

I advertised that Japanese and Italian were ready to be added as game langauges a while ago already, but so far nobody volunteered to do the translation.

Apolgies - I didn't realise there was a thread set-aside for new language group suggestions... (T'other thread can be deleted)

First off - I am not taking the piss. This is a serious suggestion, and I will be willing to translate if there are enough interested parties.

The language area will comprise of characters conversing in 1337, and/or using internet/gaming slang (acronyms, smilies, counter-strike/quake gaming terms etc.)

As far as I can remember, I need 4 more players willing to get this new language area rolling - someone to market it (?) and at least 3 more to play.
