I, as an american, have much respect for your native lands sport. Why do you not have respect for ours? Whose to say which is proper? They're both right.

Arsenal aren't too good. They'r at most a 3 man team, but usually just give the ball to Henry and hope he does it, which sadly he usually does. But if he went out they wouldn't have a goalscorer, where as United now have Saha and even when Van Nistlerooy wasn't banging them in per normal the midfield chipped in with a few.

If Ferdinand hadn't of got suspended then United would win it with ease, but Brown looks very suspect, hopefully improve by the game though. Arsenal have to hit a bad run yet, they aren't used to progressing in the Champions League and that will mess with their league form, wait and you see! And Chelsea, they might finish 3rd and buy the trophy off either United or Arsenal and be crowned champions anyway.

well lets see, the reason I cal it proper football is cos I first of all need to make clear to all you americans that im not talking about your version, and I dont call it soccer cos im not american and its proper 'cos in proper football we actually use are feet hence FOOTball

Ferdinand deserved what he got in my opinion, in fact I think he got off lightly.

lol, we may not know as much about your country as we probably should but we know what your version of football is. Very physical and exciting I might add. Wait, I'm thinking of rugby. Now I'm confusing myself. I'll graciously bow out of this conversation. :D

You might be thinking of Rugby. Soccer is a game of skill, technique and the odd harsh challenge.lol. Watch a Real Madrid game and you'll appreciate the skill of the game. Or just watch Zinedine Zidane play football, good enough to convert anyone to the game.

Americans really miss out o the spirit the rest of the world experiances during the world cup. I was In Japan two year ago and saw it for myself (too imagine a country as small as mine created a game which is now so big).

American football is too slow for me like cricket, but I can apreciate why a lot of people like it.

Soccer except for international soccer sucks!!

Next World Cup the USA is going to win. Thewy would of won if Germanyt didn't cheat. They had a hand ball in teh penalty area.

Soccer can't hold a candle to proper football. (American Football)

That is why I think all three are just a waste of time to support. That's my opinion.

OK PLEASE, honestly this is serious, anyone who says the USA will ever win the world cup are mental. Seriously im not kidding no offence to the US but your footie team is beyond pants you had a really easy ride in the World cup and anyone who thinks that there good because they got as far as they did has got a serious lack of knowledge about this buetiful game. Sorry its the truth.

They got as far as England. England did really badly. USA had all the best players. We ruled. Germany cheated. Even the English announcers said that America were screwed out of a posible World Cup win.
