That is actually a misinterpretation. When ProgD people have an amazing amount of time on their hands, they can do the big things. When they don't, like me right now, they might at most do some small cosmetic changes. I just felt like programming today, don't want to get involved for many hours, so took up some small tasks, and this one caught my eye. Took about 5 minutes to program - redesigning the combat system will take loads and loads of time.

Besides, all programmers are volunteers doing this in their own free time - so, be glad with what you get, don't complain about what you don't get so much ... Suggestions are still always welcome, of course.

Mykey, it is time to grow up and accept that not everyone here agrees with your opinion on this matter, and in fact, most seem to reject what you have to say.

Anyways, I still havent heard any credible evidence that supports that it takes away from the gameplay. In fact, I think it could add to it. It allows you to see what it should look like while at the same time allowing you to roleplay the way you want it to look like.

I want to bring up another flaw in your "it takes the immersion away from the game" debate. Some people may not know what a particular item is or something, but having the pic there could get the idea across. Your idea of "looking on google" would take more immersion out of the game then having the pics in it. People come on here to play a game, not to have to check out google any time they want to know what something does.

Ahh, beautifully said, almost as good as poetry.

Such a backlash really seems a bitch knee-jerk and irrational to me.

Almost even better.

This brings up a good point that it seems some people are missing, this is all done by volunteer work. The changes that some of you are complaining about are being brought into effect at the cost of some people giving up some time in their own personal lives. Sure, some of the changes aren't too good, or what we can all agree on, but instead of complain when they are implemented, maybe you should take the time to thank them for giving their time to do it.
I am sure that most if not all the ideas are run through the suggestion forum, and that is the place to have your voice heard about what you think about the idea.

You idiot. I am bagging you BECAUSE you never said anything about him doing a good job on the art, basically. Thats the only reason.

That's enough with the insults, N-Aldwitch. Stop it. No more name-calling. It only makes you look like what you call him.

Meh, as far as I'm concerned these are a player reference someone added to help those of us who don't have a general idea of what things look like to get a basis before they suddenly have sabres with thin straight blades, or bendy claymores and such, the finer details are down to how well you rp. Plus the images don't load quick enough for me to see when making tools or clothes and I know what materials I need so just click the links quickly.

Lame. Isn't that exactly what I said?
Well okay. Here's one for you that you can't revert. Cut your hair.
