I remember a time when Agar asked on the forum who played one of my chars. Our chars were partners at the time planning a long sailing trip of discovery. [terror-filled voice!] Who knows what his char would have done to her if I had answered!!!!????[/terror-filled voice]

I can see now that I have not been nearly paranoid enough and should have reported it to the PD (just kidding, I think he just wanted to know who was such a lazy roleplayer).

If someone on IRC started cursing at me I would block them (can you do that?) or leave. If you stay you are a willing victim.

I think that is trying to be friendly, for me it is anyway, some of you might have noticed. Nah, but he has to email that to the PD, saying he thinks I am going to do something ooc against that character.

LOL, I know Seth Swell! One of my characters lives in the same tow as him(not going to give characters name out). Seth Swell is a pretty mean and strict character if you ask me. Has a thing for people hunting out of season.

I don`t see why people cant just say they do not wish to publicly reveal their characters.

Because what some people mean by that is they don't want to publicly reveal their characters and then they don't....

Some other people say it but then their character achieves something they think is of worth (steal a boat, become town leader, do some excellent RPing, discover an island - the list is endless) they want to get some credit for it and can't help but brag about it.
They are slightly too paranoid that if they go public then people will go OOC to get them for it (probably because that's how they think and that's the sort of thing they do) so they use hints and inuendos and half truths and funny half anonymous threads.

Some of the truly great characters, people know who play them but they seem to be able to look after themselves. People who are devious and dishonest, are terrified that other people will cheat to get one over on them, the worst ones cheat pre-emptively to be the first.

Agar I've seen you play well, but if you feel the need to try and use OOC means to protect your character, you've lost before you begin and you are best of away from the forums.

I still think cantr is a great game, it would be brilliant of it weren't for the fact humans play it... I'd love to play Dolphin Cantr... I bet they wouldn't need to cheat just to massage their damaged egos...

Its not a crime to, ask a player their character, or it should not be. I`m not sure on shifting policies anymore.

However intimidation or agitation, should not be accepted. I do not see Brandon attempting either here.

Many people here valued your opinion. Personally I was one of those, when I saw a thread by Agar, or a reply by agar, I knew we were in for some intelligent discussion.

There's no need to -really- leave. I know it's a good stand against Bran-Muffin but you'll regret it.


This reminds me of something that happened hours ago. My store manager is quitting work because the new Area Manager is a complete dumbshit.. to put it frankly. She really annoys him. He quit, and sent us all a message telling he had given his one-month notice. I replied with a simple sms saying,
'Then she wins.'
and that was it.



Look. You need to stay. You're inspirational to many and you're one of the few who'll stand up for himself against Bran-Muffin.

I would like to apologise publically for saying cunt... I said it like this. Cunt be Augery... I was supposed to say Cant be Augery. I have been depressed lately. Im sorry, Hermy for my immaturity.... I do give hints out when I am drinking at the time. I know I can be at times a real pain. I will try to be nice. I only come to IRC because it is a place where I cheer up... I love everyone there.... including Agar... Agar, please dont leave because of something silly. I love talking to you.
