Unable to use tools?

Postby Dervish » Sat Sep 02, 2006 7:06 am

I started a new project several days ago, trying to make some clothing. I have all of the materials and tools (that I know of), but I keep getting hourly messages saying that I'm missing tools and unable to work on the project. I've put a report into flyspray, but I wanted to see if this might be a symptom of some other, known problem.

Anything you can tell me would help. I am feeling a little naked.

Have you added the materials to the project (there should be a button next to the resource in your inventory)? And if this is not the problem, could you tell us what the clothing object is? It is possible that there is a typo in that specific piece of clothing (such as requiring a tool that doesn't quite exist), but we can only check that if we know where to look.

There are no characters working on any projects set up for that clothes type - There was an issue with crochetting but this was fixed over a week ago - Have you really tried to make the item in the past 7 days - there should be no reason why you shouldn't be able to progress as long as you do have a crochet hook of any variety (bone, wooden or iron) ?

FS#349 — Construction Error-lost tools

I think it's been about two weeks since I last tried to work on the project. But, yes, materials had been added to the project, and I had the crochet hook. As soon as the character returns to where the project is, I can verify the details. He was trying to make a crocheted wool poncho.

I have checked. This problem appears to have been fixed. Feel free to mark it as closed in flyspray (I don't know how). Thanks for letting me know it had been fixed.
