Implementation list
Whenever something new is added to the game there should be a link on the homepage to show what it is and when it was done. I hear often about things that are new that have been out for a while that I could've used a long time agao but didn't know it existed.

Why would we need a list, you can just check the implented suggestions forum once in a while. And a link every time something new comes into the game. Why on the homepage? and should 'every' thing listed there? And how long after it is implented should it be taken away from the list?
Right now you just see some day some new thing IG and think: 'Wow. Cool. Didn't knew that was possible!' and get a character to try to make it.

There is a part of the Wiki that automatically records all database changes.

I still think everything should be posted on a list like this, whether it says something like a few few items added or it says what exact item was added doesn't bother me too much. Just as long as it shows how often new things are added or old things are being changed.

Most (if not all) things do get announced now
The wiki is automatically notified when objects or project specifications change - Game mechanics changes ,if minor, are notified in the forums - if major then an in game announcement is made - Interface changes are normally left for players to find ... let ProgD have some fun
- most important changes are seen in minutes - but less important things may take a while to see ... The character history probably would have gone unmentioned for at least another week if there hadn't been an in-game message about (other) changes to the Player account page. (EDIT and utlimately it's an unimportant implementation - it adds nothing to the game itself)
However , HF's point is a good one - from a marketing point we should show the game is dynamic and changing - if anyone wants to redesign the front page I'm sure any contribution would be welcome.

I miss the days when we could implement cool new stuff and then sit back to enjoy the ripples of "Oh wow! Cool!" start to filter through the chat and forum.
*le sigh* Just take a bit more of the magic and fun out of the job...

Yes - many things
A lot of ProgD's work is optimising existing code for speed - here we'd not expect users to see any physical differences - just general improvements in responsiveness.
Security feature changes and some bug fixing work are also not always announced for obvious reasons - and people shouldn't be aware of these changes when they do occur.
Then there are the very small changes in in-game infomation - several which have been made and never been commented on - players probably assume they were always there (the location display page has several of these undetected implementations - most now over 6 months old).
Changes in project processing and setup are also not normally announced outside of ProgD and RD as they are just tools to help RD create new objects
And a vey big change in the user interface was implemented 3 days ago which has yet to be spotted - but that's a feature which will become more obvious over time
