Do Projects continue even when I m logged out?

Postby Elros » Sun Jul 23, 2006 12:38 am

I was just wondering if projects keep completing even when I am logged out?

And...

Is there any way to have more than 1 project going at a time?

Yes to the first question.

And no to the second. One character can only do one project at one time. Although, if your character is traveling in a vehicle, they can travel and work on a project, but that's the limit.

Welcome to Cantr. :D

Depends on the type of project, you might not have the tools you need to work on that project so it is not being completed.

You may also need to start work on the project. Go to the activities page (there is a tab on the character page that will take you there), and click on the button that adds you to the project. I think it is called "work on the project" or some such.

You'll learn the times the project s are updated. As long as your char is working on it at this time, it will be updated. For the rest of the time you can stop working, go into buildings, (if other chars permit) and help on certain instantaneous projects like dragging. Remember to register again to your project when you've done these other things.

I had the exact same questions when I was a newb. Well, I don't think I thought you need to be logged in for projects to advance, but I sure thought you could see the progress in real life. Waited a bit, then got bored and started travelling.
