Catapults and ballistae could be special vehicles that move slower than walking speed and are also weapons that can be used by the passengers. They should make one-hit kills but be somehow restricted, perhaps by extremely low accuracy or a limited number of attacks per day. Perhaps they would use ammunition, like ballista bolts.

Perhaps firing the weapon would take a turn. Alert people could run away while it was winding up. Or would this give too much of an advantage to people who log on every turn?

Yes, it's time to revive a dead topic people in Resources Department keep referring us too. This is, far as I know, the original guns topic. If it's not, it hasn't been locked yet so it's good enough. Let the debate begin!

For the record, I take back my support of any form of one-hit kill weapon.

But, what about assasins? We should have some type of some weapon that allows for the slitting of throats.

So that everybody over 30 can carry them around and fights will go down a lot faster? I don't like that idea.

There are already in game assasination methods, they just arn't instant.

Targets w/ crowbars need special attention, as always.
