I don't know if there were suggestion like this...
I think the game would be a lot more attractive if there would be a simple man/woman picture and pictures of clothes he/she is wearing in the character screen. I don't think it's difficult to do this. What you think?

It would require use of Flash animation and how to combine that to a database is a mystery to me. The idea itself is nice, though. Does someone know how to handle the coding?

No, please don't. I enjoy RP'ing it and using my imagination. I don't want a computer created animation changing the way I think of Cantr, it would just ruin most of the fun.

I don't think Flash is needed. Just simple picture instead of "He is wearing...". It could be a small icon on the human body, that anyone could see the material it's made of and a shape (long, short, wide etc)

It could be done by overlaying pictures of clothing items on a picture of a character. But I don't think it's worth the work or the server load.

This should really be in a separate thread.

Topic split from Clothing suggestions.

I'm aware of CSS being capable of placing images on top of each other, and if those images have transparent parts, you're not restricted by square tiles, but when I tried that code myself, it didn't work... Is it restricted to Internet Explorer or something? Since that would suck royally.

I have thought this would be a cool addtion to the game, not only for displaying the clothing worn, but also for adding genetics (skin color/build) to the game. I wouldn't want to see it in any imagination killing detail, but more like a cartoon or manequin like representation of the character, something less detailed than what Seko has been adding to the wiki.

Not long ago I made a Flash program that has a model whose skin and hair colours can be changed with sliders.

It would be a good improvement for the game. I think it's better if you couldn't choose your skin and hair. Maybe this can boost masks production :)

NO! cantr is a text based... I don't like the pictures we do have... maps being the only acceptable picture...

OMG and I was the one who made all those beautiful portraits by William Bishoff. *palm face* enough said.
