What you do for a living?

Postby rklenseth » Sun Aug 06, 2006 6:40 pm

Considering that Cantr has a diverse background of people I was wondering what everyone does for a living. So what does everyone do for a living and a little about it?

You make a single flawed assumption. What makes you think I'm living?

Ok, what do you do that you consider as work so that you can eat and do some other things? Better, Solfius?

I'm about to be between jobs. At this point in time, I've got a student job in an archival library at the university here. Only 2 more weeks though. Then I have no job in sight, but I will need one. >.<

I'm hoping my supervisor will find the job he wants so I can move into his position soon. Then I'll still be working in the archival library. I guess eventually I might end up in his position there, I just don't know if I'll have enough time that I need a job in between or not yet.

Oh, and besides babysitting a couple of summers and working in Barnes & Noble a month, I've only worked in libraries.

Subway...I work at Subway...
Awkward: Having your phone go off full volume during a funeral.

Even more awkward: Your ringtone being "I Will Survive"

The most awkward: Coming back after a 10+ year hiatus and swearing I'd never come back.

I've been working at Sonic for a couple weeks. I'm out of shape and not used to all the physical activity, so it really sucks. But hopefully working there will make me get in a little better shape.

Before that, I worked at a catering place as a waitress for a couple months. It was a lot easier, but I only worked a couple days a week, so I didn't get much money.

Those are the only 2 jobs I've had, other than babysitting my brothers.

Edit: Oh, right, I'm mainly a student, of course. :)

Part-time job at Canadian Tire..

I want to be a cop, though, in the long run.
