Handling Coins - Duplicate of accepted suggestion

Postby Hagan » Sun Aug 06, 2006 1:43 am

I have a character that has been putting lots of time and effort into implementing currency into his towns economy. Today I had an idea…
I remember reading about stacking coins and that would be nice. BUT it is not in place yet so I assume that means it would be to difficult to code.

My Idea is this

Treat the coins like you would notes. IF you can do multiple task to notes, why cant you coins. That way if you needed to pass 5 coins to someone you could just check the five you want to give them and your done.
Anyway Just a thought, My partner and myself will do what we can to generate a currency economy. But this would REALLY help us I do believe.  . :?:
Who wants to be normal...... Normal means you are with the majority.. and I dont want to be with them......

So, if you are supportive of stackable coins, does that mean that you would want this change to be temporary? Or, would you want both of the changes?

Don't see why not. I support.
Obviously stackable coins would be ideal - less clutter on Events, and easier to pick coins off the floor - but this is at least a good thing, and should be easily implementable.

Like Sho said, stacking would be ideal. But, while the ProgD is working on the code, maybe they could make this implement a temporary change.

I support this idea, please implement until stacking is possible.
This would definately make things a lot easier.

This is really a duplicate of the already accepted stacking coins suggestion

What has been suggested here is no easier to code than (nor very different from) coin stacking
