lock picking screwdrivers.

screwdrivers should be able to pick locks.

caus you can take off the hinges with a screwdriver irl.

Also, axes should be able to pick locks, caus they can just chop down the door.

Screwdrivers? No. Lockpicking equipment should be visible and fairly expensive, for sanity's sake, and screwdrivers are neither.

Don't know about axes. But I don't see a reason for it. Realism by itself is never a good reason for a change.

screwdrivers can already be used to dismantle a lock from the inside, if unlocked, which is pretty much what you wanted: remember you need to be able to open a door to get at the hinges, so a screwdriver is no good if the door is locked.

Exept if you're on the same side with the hinges... and then you should get the pieces of the lock and be able to melt them back to iron or put on another door. But we're not talking about realism here.

I think that it should be possible to pick locks so that the lock doesn't brake.
The following statement is not true.

It always says crowbar or a lock-picking tool... is there such a thing as a lock pick?

And a lock pick might not necessarily be visible, but picking a lock definitely would be... and if you fail, you're caught red-handed.

I think that special equipment is a good idea, such as lockpicks. But screwdriver... it would be too easy.

And of course: PD should develop a special ability to pick locks.

Yea, Locking picking ability, like if you're awkward obviously it'd take longer, but would you be more noticable? make sounds as you pick the lock?

I'm a stealth nut in real life. I play lots of pranks on my friends by unlocking their doors and raiding their houses (and refrigerators) then scaring them to wakefulness.

So, naturally, I would love to have lockpicking in Cantr.

EDIT: Of course, with proper tools, not a screwdriver.

If we want a lockpicking equipment we should consider implementing different types of lock. More and less advanced. Some of them would be easy to pick some of them even impossible.
