I know enough of the procedures on the English Wikipedia to be able to navigate the German Wikipedia with the help of a bit of guessing with cognates. That got me to the discussion about the deletion, which translated fairly cleanly through Google Language Tools.

Sho, if you are so experienced with Wiki, tell me what now is wrong with english version?

edit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cantr_II

"It is proposed that this article be deleted, because of the following concern:
No indicated notability, seems to fail WP:WEB and WP:SOFTWARE. "

What seems to be the problem? The Wiki seems fine to me at the moment, and thus it is hard to diagnose the problem without a more accurate discription of the problems you are experiencing.

He's talking about Wikipedia, not the Cantr wiki. The Wikipedia article for Cantr (see PRUT's link) has been put up for deletion. Same thing that happened to the German entry, basically.

We have five days to bring the article up to standards (the relevant ones are described on
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WP:SOFTWARE and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WP:WEB).

EDIT: See announcement - http://www.cantr.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10063.

Please help me to bring the article up to speed. I created a structure and some entries already but as a one-person project it will probably get deleted. Also I'll be embarking on a 24h trip back to Germany tomorrow morning and unable to write much more before the deadline.

I wasn't sure where we were supposed to add our input but finally figured out it is here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cantr_II

You will see a number of catagory headings there under which you can add content. Sociologists essays are specifically requested.

I think some of the stats from the webzine would be impressive, too.

If your school or classroom has used or recommended Cantr in anyway (even if it is just posted on a bulletin board) please PM the info to me and I will write up something about that aspect, i.e. Cantr as an educational, learning tool.

I think we could use a separate paragraph about Cantr as a language learning tool but I think someone with more experience with that aspect should write that part (or I will write it if you PM me the info).

It might be good if other people would volunteer to write about a specific area, announce it here and have people PM them any info to be compiled.

Anyone who is uncertain of their English is welcome to PM me for editing help before you post.
