There have been suggestions for mugging projects and similar things in the past. The most common idea is an extension of the dragging functinality.

It would have stood a greater chance if you'd posted it in another more relevant thread - This thread is specifically about the user interface and not game mechanics

Sho can come along and dig out the necessary cross-references. I wouldn't mind seeing it added, personally. Would come in handy to nick the keys off the sleeping town leader that have brought their society to a grinding halt.

Mugging people, tying them up, whatever...there just really should be a way to get items away from someone without actually killing them. That and dragging them back into town from the road.

Everyone complains about how life is to cheap in Cantr, well a big part of that is that in so many situations there's no choice but to kill somebody.

Even if it only worked on things that showed up when you looked at a person it would be great to have.
