Oh, the excitement! I wanna be a citizen in this town. I don't even bother to check my char when they light up anymore, I'm having so much fun! There are more buildings then people, and I think it's so awesome the way nobody uses them, even when asked! And those two are the most active...all day, every day, but everyone else has taken a turn having a thrilling little whisper-fest too. Well, except for all the sleepers of course... Gee, I wonder how such a friendly and welcoming town could possibly wind up with so few awake people?

That's the kind of character that makes me wonder why I like this game...

And I bet if they were in, say, Dory... they would be receiving RP praise...

I prefer that to the converse. My head still aches from the days when there were 5 pages of conversation that I HAD to pay attention to.

Whisper towns are nice in the fact that you don't have to pay attention to what is happening, Marian. Just click...not me...click out. Taadaa! Events are delt with in a manner of seconds and I can go about my business. :D

Yeah, but I've got this char out exploring the big wide world for the first time, and I would have loved to have a chance to actually RP them a little.

It's sad that I had a much more interesting conversations while spending one whole day in an almost abandoned desert, and later talking to a guy for like ten minutes on the road, than I have in the entire week or so I've been in such a large, obviously active town.

There is an overactive town three to six locations away in an unspecified direction that is currently driving me insane. If you are looking for overabundance of roleplay for her you can march her on that way.

I will throw out for consideration the possibility that it might be a bit sad that you have overlooked a very important phenomenon in today's Cantr. People confuse quantity for quality. My best RP moments have occurred with two people inside a locked building, or floating on board a boat surrounded by blue (and I am not talking about sex RP ;) ).

Pity annoys me!

Braces even moreso!

I can't find my rifle, or my swords. (all three were given to me by my grandpa before he died, and so are very special)

Oh, and I take back some of what I said about Djorf. It's actually become a litle more interesting lately...I guess someone important starving themselves out of boredom was enough of a shake things up a little and get people trying to change. Let's hope it stays that way now. :)

hmmmm
Awkward: Having your phone go off full volume during a funeral.

Even more awkward: Your ringtone being "I Will Survive"

The most awkward: Coming back after a 10+ year hiatus and swearing I'd never come back.

All I am going to say is that some people have a really deep set hatred for religion. for some reason, they REFUSE to believe or even let me build a temple or shrine. As if their characters have a reaon to deny my guy's construction of a building to his god, but nobody does. They just all say no, give no reason, just no.

To sum it up, people should really seperate their personal views on religion from those of their characters. If your character doesnt have a religion, at least be accepting of those who do. Open hostility to a religions person for no reason at all is bad rp, IMO.
