Cooking stones

Hello people,

is it an idea to use cooking stones? I mean that you lay a big stone in the ashes of a fire pit (raws:>wood, tools: cooking stone) and then use this stone to bake pancakes.

I think it's a good idea, I have a feeling that a lot of recipies when living off the wild use hot stones like that...

well, with hot stones for pancakes and all.. how about we open up a waffle house, huddle house or IHOP LMFAO! id laugh sooooo hard if i saw one of those pop up in cantr.

Was it really intended to take so much wood to cook stuff? With an oven you can keep it going for a whole day with just a little wood - this takes 2 days' wood production to grill just a little meat!

Yes, that wood problem can really make things difficult, and not in a "fun challenge" sort of way, but more of a "Not worth my time" sort of way..Also, maybe instead of an IHOP, maybe it'd just be called...CHOP? :lol:

Good comment Cathy, I have adapted the values. You can grill now 150 gr of meat (resulting in 135gr) and you need 100gr of wood to do it.
