Most isolated area? You'd have to look for it, but look on the maps for something with few resources and long roads *coughdesertscough* And you can build anywhere.

Someone once told me I shouldnt be able to build a cottage in the swamp but I did. Its just me, a bungalo, my rowboat, some alligators, and clay.

There's an actual swamp? I remember hearing about that crazy hermit. That was back before alligators; he had to RP them.

There are quite a few isolated places that aren't in the desert, I got a few characters in pretty isolated areas and it is quite an interesting life because there are a few traders around and so it's rather dream-like.

there are lots of places that are just desolate, like mountains and deserts. but in terms of real towns, akypor seemed pretty isolated to my character who stayed there a few days. it's at the end of a peninsula, 2 locations long.

You are right, he used even had a note on the gorund warning people to stay on the path and beware the alligators, now there actually giant reptiles.

I don't want to give anything away but those alligators have very sharp teeth and strong jaws. The swamp is not a place for anyone to hang around outside for too long.

I know of a really isolated place, with fairly abundant resources, although nothing really valuable...although, I don't think I'll say where...

I know 2 places......i don't really think its isolated cuz theres bodies there, and one of them has hawks, the other has snakes, i guess the people weren't strong enought to take them on. They have good stuff i guess.

Hands down, Knatr is the most isolated place. There is no competition at all as far as I am concerned and I think other people who have been to Knatr (which is very few) would agree.

Now that I think of it. I haven't seen very many maps with Knatr on it. I think even the mapmakers don't get out there and that is is just how isolated it is from the world.

My first two characters in cantr ever were in Knatr. Since I only had around four or five characters at the time, I thought it was a major place, and since there were less spawning points then, there were a few other characters there too, but it had a very poor mix of resources and some are very far off. There is some slight developments there, but nothing compared to the rest of cantr.

Um... you are all wrong! One of the admins said something about most of the world not even being touched by humanity, and many many isolated islands with no one on them.

Yeah, but now Knatr's a thriving metropolis and the only place with raw steel coming from the ground ;)

I agree, I think Knatr is about the most isolated on the populated lands :) ...
