I wish I didn't now totally agree with that...BarbaricAvatar wrote:My rant of the day.
Amber and Olaf, and Elrond and Myst. Apparantly competing to see who can be the most pathetic couple and filling up the page with line after line of meaningless crap! Grrr

Since when was meaningless crap exciting?
I'd like to rant about sleeping people with keys. Nice people who open doors for you and all those useful things that keep everything working smoothly... then one day the doors stop opening and the world ceases to work.
Wow, I am really bad at ranting. That was the worst "rant" I've ever read. Maybe I'm just having an off day.

I'd like to rant about sleeping people with keys.
Me too! If you're know your chars are going to sleep indefinateley, why not hand away the keys, or at least copies of the keys? Why let a town you supposedly care about grind to a halt and slowly die when it would be so simple, just a couple of clicks really, to give people access to the stuff they need to keep things running? And it's even more annoying when you know the player is still checking their account, because if they weren't there chars would have died a long time ago. Either lead the town, or retire, or die, or something.
Of course I guess it's just as equally the town's fault for letting a control freak who insists on being the one with all the keys get in charge anyway....
But anyway! That's not what I came here to rant about. No, today I would like to rant about Drojf! There are lots of towns I hate, (Tircqui for starters, and lots of little dead places along the coast that are just beggin to be wiped out...) but this one I hate the most of all. All the others are just boring, Drojf on the other hand makes me angry.
It's a huge town, but there's no progress, no goals, no one ever speaks and nothing ever happens. There's just a bunch of useless farmers watched over by a bunch of useless guards...why do you need so many guards in a town where nothing happens anyway?
No, I take that back...something does happen. Once a week or so an older char drops dead and then there's a bunch of stupid, endless drama. It's mildy entertaining becuase it's so riduculous, and it's also the only time anyone talks out loud, but I have a hard time believeing anybody is seriously all that upset about the death of chars that were apparently so boring even their players couldn't stand them another day.

I just almost ripped my fifty dollars worth of bills, that I just earned, in my bare hands. Realizing that I couldn't rip two twenty's, a five, and five one's, I ripped a one dollar bill into worthlessness instead.

And my next town to rant about: Pok.
Everyone in Pok should die a slow, agonizing death, just as slow and agonizing as the death and/or madness anyone with the bad luck to spawn in that mind-numbingly boring whisper-filled town is sure to face.
Abby Akio Annavaru and her boyfriend should be the first ones to go.
(Abby, here's a hint: No one needs an OOC message about your lunch break!

I hate players that expect you to waste 30 minutes just sitting on Cantr running 30 whispers back and forth... that is not a relationship, people...Marian wrote:(Abby, here's a hint: No one needs an OOC message about your lunch break!)

And especially people who get upset if you don't respond within 15 minutes and post things like "*sighs* They fell asleep again"
