Tattooing(looked into it as being a possible repeat)

Postby Sekar » Fri Jul 07, 2006 8:29 pm

I did not find any evidence that Tattoing has been mentioned. All I found was painting, and even then body art itself was not really discussed. I just joined the forums though, so I could be making an incredible mistake, and have missed the forum mentioning this somehow. Hopefully this isn't a waste of time.

I thought about possible ways to implement tattooing. If implemented, tattooing tools would probably be numerous, as I have done a little research, and it sounds like you could use several materials to make tattoos(bone, iron, steel). You could use needle method, or we could also implement a more...blunt method. What I mean by this branding tattoos, or shaping a mold of iron, getting it real hunt, and then pressing it against the skin of the one recieving the tattoo. Now I think the creator of the tattoo should be able to type in the description of what it is, instead of having it preset like clothing.

Uses of Tattoos:
-To signify a class rank.
-To mark someone as a member of a secret society.

Problems with Tattoos:
-If they became to popular, and to easy to make, it would become kinda annoying.
-It would require alot of information to be added to the game.

You can count on me to be arrogant, egotistic and spiteful enough to post publicly the results of cursory searches which can be made by anyone who notices and reads the announcement on "Tips on searching for previous suggestions." You can count on me because I am a sour misanthrope who, incapable of coming up with anything positive or creative, resorts to prowling for easy targets for my scorn.
