* at the fact that radrobert's last two posts can't be understood*It's obvious that radrobert was quoting Chris Johnson on his last post, if that's what you're confused about. <.< Oh wait, now I see what you could be confused about. Just disregard this whole post.

Oh, sorry, really. Just let it pass, even though this is getting bumped. It's just no big deal, isn't it? Bah! Someone got ahead of me again!

Edit: Deleted a sentence since I don't want to bring another topic up again...

That is why I vote we hijack the thread and veer it way off course onto some tangent that isn't related to the original post in any way shape or form whatsoever....oh....wait.......we only do that with meaningful and important discussions. The boring and asinine stuff we drag out and dwell on for ages. ;)

Asinine is an interesting word to me. It has nothing to do with ass, nor the number nine. What are your thoughts? Talk amongst yourselves. Go!

Asinine is my favorite word again, by the way. I think a career in science will do that to you.

There are some topics where a perpendicular change in direction is welcome...

Did you ever take a picture of your high scores on Activision games for Atari 2600 system, mail them in, and get patches for your accomplishments?

Do you think that indiana game was the same sad one you could get for the sega mega drive.Or maybe it was the master system, either way both rubbish. All indiana had was a sad whip from what i remember of playing it. I placed them systems both away to collect dust in the attic alongside the zx spectrum, a very early Atari system which made me hate tennis games, my old bbc plus a commodore 64, and amstrad cpc64 keyboard and monitor with sad over 5 minutes time taking loadable tape games like Horris goes skiing and pogo. I'm guessing they will become collectables in the future if not already.

Cantr reminds me in a small way of the old Amstrad tape loadable rp adventure games .. where you played a character normally a Knight and typed to speak do actions and move directions with other obviously npc's all text based, which if you used swear words while playing would have an answer for things. Which used to make me laugh because some programmer must have spent time adding in swear words in those pre recorded tape games to be recognised to return the response to them and they recognised quite a few, you got a warning for swearing and it would send you straight back to the start of the game again. If you typed something not recognised it would just say "i don't understand your command" or something as equally frustrating. And you had your poor char run through castles and lands learning spells, collecting things and solving riddles. Funny enough they all had Lycanthrope spells in there somewhere in most of the rp games then.

And no i've not met any Mutants in Cantr. I've come across a few possible ones but nothing to convince me there are any.

You guys make me want to steal my parents' Intellivision to play some games!

Because the talk about Indiana Jones makes me think of a game called Pitfall.

I made two of a sabre once accidentally. As you can see, my character then took over the world.
