radrobert wrote:So i have this character who has a special ability. Like an x-men persay.
Let me just say I did change my ip before i posted this so you cant find my account.
But my character i noticed has this abilty to "duplicate things" I log in and somehow i have 2 of what i had when i signed off.
If i drop these items and lock myself in a room it happens again and no one is giving these things to me, it just happens. So somehow i have the magical x-men abilty to duplicate clothing just by checking my accounts each day. Anyone else have an x-men affect? And can i call myself a mutant cantrian? Maybe im the new generation of cantr citizen. Heh anyways i dont use these to my advantage i leave the items in a locked room because i have more clothes than my town has people so to prevent people from thinking i cheat i lock them away. But honestly i want to meet more mutants.
radrobert - Thank you for reporting this issue. I've looked into it and can find no evidence of your characters duplicating clothes. The one case where one of your characters picked up two hide bikinis was valid - these were unique and different objects.
Please can you contact bugs@cantr.net detailing exactly what happened -character information would be appreciated . Alternatively you can contact me by a PM on the forum

I thought it was possible he might have really found a bug, though of course "Haha I changed my IP you'll never find me now" was obviously trollish. (and stupid...did he honestly think that would keep anyone from finding his account? Too bad he was only pretending to abuse a bug though, since I don't think you can get banned just for being a troll or there might be a few forumites we'd be rid of for good...)
If they want to find him... they can... it's not just the IP I am sure...
actually it is just the ip its easy to change with a cable modem. anywho Like i said i dont abuse the bugs in the game. I just thought since the x-men craze just blew over I would find out how many other "mutant" characters there were out there. And whoever had a problem with my typing can screw themselves because If your on a forum to chritisize typing then your just being dumb see i spelled that wrong im 100% sure. But I dont care. Anywho. Thanks to everyone else who left a positive response about being a "mutant".

Then why is the IP the same for all 7 posts you've made? Did you decide to make this thread and change your IP 3 days before you actually posted it or ever posted on this forum? Or did you change your IP in relation to the game rather than the forum? If you changed your IP before you posted this thread, then doesn't that mean you'd have posted from a different IP?

Just like in X-Men, most groups in Cantr do not tolerate mutants and they are persecuted. Unlike X-men, your "powers" will not save you. We don't want your kind around. Sooner or later you will let your bug abuse slip IC and thats when you will see how little power you actually have.
