Allies? Don't you mean ally? Its just such massive and slavish support it SEEMS like multiple allies. Another one of those "coalition of the willing" shows

For the record I don't put all this on the Bush administration, rather certain Washington lobbies, and a sort of foriegn policy inertia that no president has dared to truly delve into head first.

I mean when a president of a soveriegn nation (in this case the U.S.) can't even say "We want to take an even-handed approach with Isreal and Palestine" without massive political backlash from the Israel lobby, and massive political conseuquences if he doesn't backpeddle, something is fishy. "Even-Handed" is hardly inflamatory rehtoric. While I disagree with a lot of Bushes policies, and won't vote for him, I can at least tip my hat to him for at least ATTEMPTING to take the Israel lobby to task in his approach to dealing with the Palestinian issue. I mean "even-handed" is a benign statement coming from Bush, I can't believe there was so much backlash when he said that.

Santa attempted to fly the wrong way over the area. Helicopters were dispatched. The Isreali goverment strongly denies that Santa was shot down or is being held at and undisclosed location.
